​THE STORY: In a magical kingdom beneath the sea, the beautiful young mermaid, Ariel, longs to leave her ocean home to live in the world above.  Ariel, King Triton's youngest daughter, wishes to pursue the human Prince Eric in the world above, bargaining with the evil sea witch, Ursula, to trade her tail for legs. But the bargain is not what it seems, and Ariel needs the help of her colorful friends, Flounder the fish, Scuttle the seagull, and Sebastian the crab to restore order under the sea.

Mark your calendars and bring your friends and family for a day full of fun, shopping, and tasty eats. This Spring Fling Vendor Fair is not just an event; it's a celebration of community, creativity, and local talent.

The Volksmarch, German for the “People’s March,” is an annual Sturgis event that has been happening for decades. Sturgis Volksmarches are sanctioned by the Black Hills Volkssport Association and follow a new and noteworthy trail route each year for participating hikers.
Why Volksmarch? Marchers participate for a variety of reasons - exercise, social interaction, exploring new trails, or just pure enjoyment. Most hikers walk at a leisurely pace to take in the natural beauty of the area, but it is up to each participant! Sturgis is lucky to be flanked by National Forest on one side and Great Plains on the other, offering countless opportunities for outdoor recreation on a variety of terrain. Past Volksmarches have visited Deadman Canyon, the historic Davenport Dams, the Alkali Creek area, Bear Butte State Park, and even a march through the town itself to highlight Sturgis’s unique history and culture.

The Crazy Horse Spring Volksmarch invites adventurous spirits to a unique journey through the verdant woodlands and striking landscapes of the Black Hills and Badlands of South Dakota.

This bi-annual 10K trek is more than just a hike; it's an immersion into the heart of nature and a tribute to the monumental Crazy Horse carving, the largest of its kind in progress. With each step, participants connect to the land and the enduring legacy of Crazy Horse.

This autumn hike is the public’s second chance of the year to walk up the world’s largest mountain carving in progress.
The Crazy Horse Volksmarch is the most popular organized hike in the United States (15,000 walkers in a record year). This family event is sponsored by the Black Hills Chapter of the American Volksmarch Association (AVA) and hosted by Crazy Horse Memorial®️.
Cost:
Admission for hikers will be discounted. The American Volkssport Association's hike fee is $3 (cash or check, no credit cards accepted)  for each participant regardless of age. Regular admission applies to non-hikers.
Rules:
NO PETS allowed on the trail. Due to the rocky terrain no strollers or wheelchairs are permitted. Social distancing is encouraged.
Parking:
FREE. Due to the popularity of the event, parking can be some distance from the starting point and not on paved or gravel surfaces. Shuttle buses operate between these outlying parking lots and the start-finish area.
Registration:
No advance registration. Hikers must check in at starting point, which is at the Memorial’s upper parking area. Registration will begin at 7:00 am. Hikers must register before 1 p.m. and be off the trail by 4 p.m. No late starts.
Notes & Considerations:
The trail rises 500 feet and can be rugged with some steep inclines. The final elevation is 6,532 feet. There are 4 checkpoints along the route with portable restrooms. Sturdy footwear is recommended. Plan on 2-4 hours round-trip. The Hike can be canceled due to poor weather conditions.

Little Britches is one of the oldest, continuing junior rodeo associations in the nation. The NLBRA’s membership ranges from Canada to Texas from the west coast to the eastern states.The aims and purposes of the organization are directed toward the interests of the western-minded youth of the nation. It is a non-profit venture to build sound, healthy minds and bodies—to develop character, self-reliance and good sportsmanship through competition in the great sport of rodeo.
