Pets
We are pet friendly - with a one time $75 plus tax pet fee. Max 2 pets per cabin, please. Pets are not permitted to run free inside of the cabin while you are away for the day. If you do not intend to take your pet with you during your daily excursions, please bring a kennel to use while you are away.
The Bluebird's Nest does not accept pets at this time.
Reservation Payment: must be paid in full 90 days prior to arrival. If you want to make payments throughout the year. Please call and we can arrange that for you.
Deposits & Payments: We require a $150 non-refundable deposit to hold your reservation.
During this Covid-19 crisis, we are not refunding any new bookings deposits. We are only allowing you to reschedule your reservation for later in the year or for next year. We normally request full payment 90 days prior but are changing to 30 days prior due to the current crisis. It is possible we may be required to cancel reservations depending on government directives. Thank you for your understanding.
Sturgis Week: Plan accordingly - we book up fast.
We do confirm your cabin once the deposit is made. You will receive an email outlining the time frame you have to make your deposit payment. It will not confirm the space until paid. The final payment is requested approximately 90 days prior to arrival. If we do not receive a final payment within 48 hours of a request for final payment we will place your cabin in available status. Please check your spam folder if you feel we haven't responded to your request. We have gotten feedback that our response emails are being directed to their spam folders. We generally will respond within 24 hours of your request. We keep our calendar updated daily, so if we have an opening, it will reflect changes as soon as we get them.
Damage/Cleaning Deposit: We MAY request a credit card on arrival and keep on file for damages. We do not charge a cleaning fee prior to arrival - we expect the cabin to be left in the condition you found it upon arrival. Normal cleaning is expected after your departure and we appreciate that all guests respect the property for future guests.
Cancellation Policy/Refunds of deposits:
We collect a $150 deposit on all reservations. If full payment has not been received 30 days prior to arrival, reservations will be canceled and deposit is nonrefundable.
If something happens within your 30-day window and you have paid in full and need to cancel, we will do everything possible to re-rent your dates so you can receive a full refund. If we are unable to re-rent for all the days confirmed, we will refund for the days we were able to recover. $150 deposit is only refunded if the entire stay is rebooked by another guest.
