All Hallows Eve Favorites!

 

 

Deadweird


An annual premier event where ghosts, goblins, and the wackiest costumes will descend upon Deadwood’s cobblestoned Main Street. Held Oct. 24 and 25 in Deadwood, this free event includes a monster ball, costume contests, and live entertainment at downtown locales!

 

 

Haunting of Keystone


Local legends of Keystone come to life during the Haunting of Keystone. A collaboration of local businesses, this annual event is sure to give any thrill-seeker the chills! Held on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays Oct. 10-26, The Haunting of Keystone takes you through spooky cave corridors, chilling gold mine, and a haunted Keystone Victorian schoolhouse. Enter if you dare!

 

 

Ghost Tours


Adams House

The Black Hills and Badlands has a deep history of paranormal tales and spooky, haunting encounters from the Wild West past. Paranormal Investigations at the Historic Adams House in Deadwood offers a unique tour of the grounds, which typically encompass the history of Deadwood and the region, shares the hauntings and spirits of Deadwood.

 

 

Family Fun


Get the entire family in the Halloween spirit! A variety of communities host trick-or-treating events and kids’ carnivals where the entire family can dress up and visit local businesses for treats!

The Spearfish Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch in Spearfish, a popular fall family destination, lets the ghosts and goblins in for a Haunted Corn Maze to celebrate the Halloween season. But be aware – ghosts and monsters will be hiding in the corn stalks, ready to scare up a scream or two!

For spooky, but not scary thrills, take the Halloween Night Hike in Custer State Park or visit the Haunted Museum Days at Dinosaurs of the Hell Creek Museum in Belle Fourche.
