All are welcome at the 34th Annual Oglala Lakota Nation Wacipi Rodeo Fair on August 1-4, 2019 at the Pow Wow Grounds in Pine Ridge, South Dakota.
On the first weekend of August each year, the Oglala Lakota Nation Wacipi Rodeo Fair includes a carnival, pow wow with five grand entries, vendors and a daily flag raising. Lunch and Supper will be served daily. Camping will be available.
Other Oglala Lakota Nation Wacipi Rodeo Fair events include Rodeo, horse races, golf, parade, softball, baseball, fishing derby, horseshoe tournament, volleyball, basketball, hand drum contest, pow wow and food. There’s a lot to experience, so get here early!
