For one week each August, Sturgis becomes home to tens of thousands of motorcycles during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally—one of the largest events for motorcycle enthusiasts in the USA. The Sturgis Motorcycle Rally is known worldwide for its bikes, bars, and good times. Ride through the Black Hills and observe the aesthetic scenery.  Appreciate the history of the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally by visiting the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum and Hall of Fame.

Be adventurous and hike Bear Butte. Experience the historical Fort Meade Cavalry Museum. Sturgis is a goldmine of history, entertainment, and sights. Just outside of Sturgis, the 111-mile Centennial Trail takes hikers through the prairie and grasslands near Bear Butte State Park and through the alluring Black Hills country. After a quick hike on the Centennial Trail or up Bear Butte, stop by Downtown Sturgis for some souvenir shopping and get your Sturgis gear.
