Looking for things to do in the Black Hills? Overland America Corp provides outdoor adventures specializing in Jeep & Overland Trailer rentals. Overland America Corp is based in Custer, SD providing service to the areas surrounding the majestic Black Hills of South Dakota. Western South Dakota is an outdoor recreational paradise. There are 1.2 million acres of National Forest allowing off-road enthusiasts access to thousands of miles of trails by using the Black Hills National Forest Motorized Trail System.

FAQs:

Must be 25 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license to rent and drive.
Use of seatbelts are required for all vehicle occupants.
Child safety seats are required as appropriate by law. Child safety seats must be provided by the renter.
You will be given a Safety and Vehicle Familiarization Briefing prior to departure. All questions will be answered to your comfort level before you leave with the vehicle. If at any time, prior to departure, you do not feel this experience is for you, just let staff know.
Insurance is included in the price of your rental. You will be covered at the South Dakota minimum requirements ($25K/$50K/$25K).
We accept VISA, Master Card, Discover & AMEX.
Taxes include: 4.5% SD Sales Tax, 4.5% Motor Vehicle Gross Receipts, 1.5% State Tourism Tax, 2% Municipal Tax.
There is a 6% convenience fee for booking online. There is no fee for booking over the phone.
10% military discount for active or retired military.
Fuel is not included. Vehicles will be full when you receive them and will need to be full when you return them. All vehicles take REGULAR UNLEADED FUEL.
Reasonable cleaning of vehicles is included. Excessive mud, dirt, food, beverage, staining of interior will be assessed a cleaning fee.
Vehicles seat 4-5 people.
Vehicles are equipped with air conditioning & heat, climate controls.
Items you might consider bringing: Water, food, sunscreen, First Aid-Kit, sunglasses, closed-toe-shoes, change of clothes, map.
Avenzamaps.com or Avenza Maps: Offline Mapping APP can be downloaded to your phone or device at no charge. You can actively follow your position on the map even when outside cellular range. We recommend you download the following maps for the local area:
- Hells Canyon Ranger District
- Mystic Ranger District
- Bearlodge Ranger District
- Northern Hills Ranger District
- Black Elk Wilderness & Norbeck Wildlife Preserve Trail System
Safety is Paramount! All vehicles come with an inReach mini GPS Satellite Communicator. Your position can be tracked by Overland America at a delayed setting in case of an emergency. You can send and receive text messages in case of emergency. You can alert 911 emergency services via the SOS button.
Yes!! We do deliver!! We can pick you up at your campground or make arrangements to have you picked up from the airport. Whatever your situation, Overland America can accommodate.
