Deadwood Historic Tours offers guided tours by local historian Jeannine Guern. The tour is offered 6 days a week (Monday through Saturday) and by appointment on Sundays. Tours begin at 10 am and vary depending on the tour. Take an informative and picturesque journey that’s full of local history – starting with Centennial Valley, through Deadwood’s Historic Main Street, up to Lead, on to Cheyenne Crossing and through Spearfish Canyon. Private tours and destinations are considered upon request. Service dogs are welcome.  Payment may be made by cash or card.

Travel back in time to the days when the Cheyenne to Deadwood Stagecoach brought dusty travelers to the Black Hills. Explore the rich history of Deadwood and Lead, take a ride on the steam-locomotive driven 1880 Train or visit Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse.  A visit to Belle Fourche and the Tri-State Museum will bring you near the geographic center of the 50 U.S. states.

Picnic lunches, wine tastings, trout fishing, antique shopping and a whole lot of history are waiting for you to experience!
