Meet the 56 men who signed the Declaration of Independence and hear the story of how America was founded. John Trumbull's famous painting "Declaration of Independence" has adorned the Capitol Building in Washington, D.C. since 1826 and a life-size statue display of the painting is the centerpiece of America's Founding Fathers Exhibit. You'll renew your patriotism, learn about history and be spellbound by the exhibit. A sound and light show with the statues follow a historical interpreter's introduction of the reasons behind the colonists' desire for independence. Linger as long as you like reading brief biographies of the signers and talk to our colonists.

We have books on the American Revolution, the Founding Fathers and women, educational material, puzzles and games about the Revolution - plus ice cold water! Ring our full size replica of the Liberty Bell, too.

And, try your hand at shooting the gun that the Continental Army used as a sniper rifle - a flintlock, black powder Kentucky long rifle.

The facilities are wheelchair accessible.
