The Gold Rush Gravel Grinder is a race ride/tour of the Black Hills. It consists mostly gravel roads, but will also include a bit of pavement while riders roll over open prairies.

The Hulett Rodeo is held every year the second weekend of June. There is an added $700 purse to every event except bareback and broncs which have $1250 added. There is rookie bronc and bull riding which have an added $250 and a buckle. Ranch Bronc Riding with an added $500 and a buckle.
