It’s officially time to get spooky in the Black Hills and Badlands and we’re here to help you celebrate (in our opinion) the best holiday...HALLOWEEN. From Hot Springs to Belle Fourche, the Black Hills will be bewitched by Halloween this month with wizardry, sorcery and some black magic combined with costume contests, carousing and celebrations.

There’s nothing quite like getting weird in Deadwood at the 8th annual Deadweird celebration. The party starts Friday, October 30th at the Tin Lizzie Gaming Resort with the Monster Ball. Enjoy live music, dancing, prizes, and giveaways.

The fun continues into Saturday with the costume contest at the Silverado-Franklin Hotel. Come dressed to impress and compete to win over $10,000 in prizes.

Both events are FREE to attend! Must be 21 and up to participate.

Frighteningly Fun Festivities

Following is a list of options for your Halloween festivities. It’s by no means intended to be comprehensive, but it will provide you with some of our favorite alternatives for adult activities as well as kid-friendly events that will make your inner-goblin smile.
