November in the Black Hills means Ponderosa Pines draped in delicate blankets of snow, festivals abound and strings of lights beginning to pop up everywhere. The weather may be starting to get colder, but the Black Hills and Badlands have the events that are guaranteed to warm you with seasonal cheer.

Explore a beautiful display of trees decorated by area businesses and attractions at the Custer State Park Visitor Center and vote for your favorite tree! Voting ends January 1, 2022 and the display will be available for viewing throughout the month of December.
