Winter is still hitting us with snow and subzero temperatures. While the Black Hills truly look beautiful in the snow and we love playing in it, we’re starting to dream of spring.

March is the time of year when those suffering from cabin fever start to come out and get the parties going again. What happens when you combine cabin fever with that pesky leprechaun, Saint Patrick? One hell of a party month!

Party On
There are many different ways to let loose in the Black Hills and Badlands when you’re looking to get out of the house and have fun. This month, don’t miss these exciting events that invite you to kick your boots off.

Celebrate 100 years of getting people outdoors to see the Cathedral Spires, Sylvan Lake, those lovable begging donkeys, and bison traffic jams. Take part in guided hikes, programming, ice fishing, and snowshoeing. Plus, it wouldn’t be a birthday party without ice cream and cake.

Taste a wide variety of whiskey, bourbons, and scotches from over 30 distilleries. Live music and upscale catering add to the fun.

St. Patrick’s Day Festivities
That pesky leprechaun is at it again, throwing the biggest party of the year. Check out some of the mischievously fun parties throughout the Black Hills and Badlands all in honor of the man himself.
