Thank you to everyone who joined us for Travel Rally Day on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at The Monument. It was great to reconnect and kick off the upcoming peak travel season while celebrating National Travel and Tourism Week.
We appreciate the participants in the Parks & Attractions meeting for sharing important information, news and updates before the peak season. There were 75 people from 46 businesses in attendance, representing area chambers and DMOs, our National Park Services, South Dakota State Parks, SDT, BH&B, area attractions and other organizations throughout the region.

During Lit Swap, over 132 people from 69 businesses distributed their visitor industry brochures and magazines in bulk to all five South Dakota Welcome Centers. They exchanged their marketing materials and networked with other regional tourism industry businesses.
