Last October, the State of South Dakota and the South Dakota Department of Toursim announced CARES Act funding would be available to DMO's through their DMO Assistance Program. This program aimed to assist the tourism industry through entities responsible for actively marketing cities or regions to visitors. Funds were directly applied to the resumption of activities and steps taken to ensure a safe experience due to the public health emergency.
BH&B actively took part in expanding our messaging to familiar and extended markets. All adding to the large national exposure South Dakota and the Black Hills received last year.
