Rushmore Tramway Adventures

Operations Manager/Owner

What is your favorite thing about the Black Hills & Badlands?
The open nature and accessibility of this region are unparalleled. I am an extreme outdoor enthusiast and am still surprised by the landscape every season despite having lived here for 21 years of my life. Not only are there endless places to explore but they all offer something different each season.

What influenced you to serve on the BH&B board of directors?
I believe partnering with BH&B is the best decision a tourism company can make when looking for a larger promotional reach. BH&B has been an amazing resource for Rushmore Tramway Adventures and I wanted to do everything in my power to contribute to this organization. Any additional benefit I can bring to the board is a thank you for the benefit BH&B has provided to our company over the years.

What do you wish other people knew about the Association?
I wish other people knew how effective the marketing strategy is within the association. Every dollar spent here has an exponential return compared to outside organizations. Not only are you helping strengthen the state tourism’s efforts by partnering with the association, but you are also maximizing efficiency in marketing dollar spend for your company.

What is new, exciting or upcoming in your business or the tourism industry?
In 2021, we will open our new jump-tower along with many other on-site improvements. The new jump-tower will be a 60’ tall and will offer the same free-fall sensation but this time with new technology. Now you can “fall” even further before you’re safely caught!
