2020 BH&B Literature Drop | Black Hills & Badlands - South Dakota

2020 BH&B Literature Drop

  • 2020 BH&B Literature Drop

Revised to respect health and safety concerns while still providing a needed resource to the visitor industry, the 2020 Literature Drop is a great way to distribute your brochures to South Dakota Welcome Centers. Industry member brochures will be collected at the BHVIC for shipping, giving you the opportunity to also stock up on 2020 vacation guides and Black Hills & Badlands maps.

This new event will be free for BH&B members with 4 x 9 brochures, $30 for members with magazines (max of 4 cases) and $30 for non-members with 4 x 9 brochures. No registration with BH&B is needed; however, businesses will need to register their brochures with South Dakota Tourism at the link below before dropping them off with the association.

Publication Program Submission Form

Once the brochure is approved, businesses can bring pre-bundled and labeled packages for each of the five visitor centers, along with the approval letter from SDT. Please note whether quantities left over from last year should be used or tossed. BH&B will be accepting brochures the week of June 8, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 1851 Discovery Circle on the BH&B loading dock.

Businesses should expect to send 1/3 fewer brochures than typical, and new businesses should send a quantity of 200. If you have any questions about the number of brochures to send, please contact Nate Johnson at nate.johnson@travelsouthdakota.com or 605-773-3301.

Five South Dakota statewide Welcome Centers—Wilmot, Valley Springs, Vermillion, Chamberlain and Spearfish—will open June 22.
