Leira Janklow

Vice President of Sales

Job Description
Building and maintaining a great working relationship with our sales team and our members. Through mentoring, discussion and strategic goal setting. I oversee the direction and vision for all sales components, and strive to meet the goals we have set for the sales department here at BH&B.

Years with BH&B
26 years—It will be 27 years in June!

What is something that most people don't know about you?
That my first name is actually the first letter of very important people from my mom’s perspective. The L = Liselotte, E = Elfrieda, I = Ira, R = Rudy, A = Arte. This equates to my mom, my godmother, my mom’s goddaughter and the last two are my mother’s brothers.

What do you like to do in your spare time?
My most favorite is spending time with my grandchildren and children. Family comes first. Outside of that, my passion is helping people. I am a certified Health Coach (Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York), a certified Zumba instructor, an Essential Oils Educator (doTERRA), CPR/AED Certified (American Heart Association) and I am currently studying for my Group Fitness Instructor certification through ACE Fitness. It’s such a great feeling to help people achieve their lifestyle changing goals!

Cats or dogs?
I love all animals, but dogs have a special place in my heart. On October 6 our Rottie, Maya, will be 10 years old. She doesn’t know she’s an old lady and still acts like a pup. She brings so much love and joy to our home.  She truly is family…I tell her “I’ll be back shortly” when I leave the house. I say “bless you” when she sneezes. I call her “Beauty Queen” and she knows it. So much love comes from her.

What is your favorite project you have worked on at BH&B?
Developing our Wellness Program which includes acquiring wellness presenters on various health topics once a month, I applied for and was awarded a grant to build a vegetable garden, sending out healthy food and/or fitness tidbits to staff, etc.

Are you messy or organized?
At the office, I have an organized mess so, organized!
