Kid's Carnival Main Street Square

Come one, come all! Clown around at Main Street Square’s main event for a laughter-filled afternoon for the whole family.

There will bounce houses provided by Jump-n-Slide, 10+ carnival style games, an exciting prize booth, train rides, face painting, great food and endless family fun!

West Boulevard Summer Festival

Every summer hundreds of visitors congregate in Wilson Park to enjoy food, music, performances, and shop dozens of local vendors selling everything from art and jewelry to food and drinks. 

The Summer Festival has been offering fun for the whole family for over 40 years! Attendance is free and open to the public. The West Boulevard Summer Festival is hosted Father’s Day Weekend.

Neutrino Day - Where Science and Fun Collide

Join us on July 13th for Neutrino Day! Sanford Underground Research Facility’s free, citywide science festival. 

Participate in hoistroom tours, science activities and exhibits for all ages. Have live video chats with scientists underground, and engaging talks about the research happening beneath your feet.  Throughout the day, attendees will find all their Neutrino Day favorites and discover new experiences, activities and speakers.  

Neutrino Day takes place at locations across Lead including:

- Sanford Lab Homestake Visitor Center
- Sanford Underground Research Facility
- Handley Recreation Center
- Historic Homestake Opera House 

Start your day at the Visitor Center, then take buses to other locations throughout Lead. Check out the schedule here!
