On June 15, 1955, a group of interested parties held their first official meeting toward the establishment of the museum. The non-profit Tri-State Memorial Museum formed that year. Visit Belle Fourche's beautiful facility to explore the fascinating history of the corners of SD, MT, & WY. Educational exhibits and kiosks tell the stories of early cattle companies cowboys, sheep/wool industries, 95 years of the Black Hills Roundup Rodeo, railroad, military, paleontology, industry, pioneers and two-story 1876 Johnny Spaulding Cabin. Open year-round. Donations appreciated.
