Grace Coolidge Walk-In Fishing Area at Custer State Park

This trail follows the Grace Coolidge Creek and anyone on it will cross the creek many times as it flows through the valley. Crossing can be difficult any time of the year, and you will get wet, so come prepared!

The creek contains six low-head dams which offer wonderful trout fishing and a habitat for the variety of plants and wildlife in the area. 

Directions: 

There is parking across from the Grace Coolidge Campground along Hwy 16A or adjacent to the swimming beach at Center Lake on the North end of the park.
