Shadehill Hours & Fees
Shadehill is open year-round, 24 hours per day. A State Park entrance license is required: $5 per day, per vehicle or $23 for an annual pass. Across the reservoir, the Hugh Glass Lakeside Use Area has no fee for day use.

Shadehill Recreation area is located 14 miles south of Lemmon off SD Hwy. 73.

Services
Shadehill has a campground offering 52 electrical campsites. Two sites are wheelchair accessible. Showers, water and dump station are available. Cost is $16 per night. The campground is open May to September. Reservations can be made up to 90 days prior to arrival (800) 710-2267. Across the reservoir, the Hugh Glass Lakeside Use Area offers 15 non-electrical primitive campsites for horse campers on a first-come, first-served basis.

Shadehill offers four camping cabins. Each cabin sleeps four people and costs $35 per night. For reservations call (800) 710-2267.

A two-bedroom lodge is available at Shadehill that is a favorite for large groups. The lodge sleeps up to 10 people and is fully furnished. Space is available at the lodge for camping, including electrical hookups for the regular per-site fee. Cost is $135 per night. For reservations call (800) 710-2267.

Food, gas, lodging and camping are also available in the gateway community of Lemmon.
