Shadehill Activities

Swimming and Beach Fun
The reservoir offers one swimming beach. No lifeguard is on duty and swimming is at your own risk. Shadehill features a volleyball, playground and picnic area.

Boating and Fishing
Shadehill features three boat ramps. This lake is well known for its walleye, smallmouth bass and crappie. There is an accessible fish cleaning station. License required.

Hiking, Biking and Horseback Riding
More than 6,000 acres of state park land and National Grasslands to explore near Shadehill. Shadehill offers no marked trails, only wide open spaces.
