The historic gold mining camp of Deadwood is known for its history & is making a name in the gambling world since gaming began there in 1989. Gambling is also legal on South Dakota Reservations; restaurants and bars offer video lottery.
There aren’t many places in the Black Hills and Badlands that wouldn’t be considered a scenic drive, but you’ll want to spend some time on the road to discover the beauty for yourself.
