Just nine short miles from Devils Tower, America's first National Monument, resides the town of Hulett. During August, Hulett is proud to welcome over 100,000 two-wheeled tourists during the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. The ideal scenic ride takes travelers from South Dakota across state lines to the ride of a lifetime along the Spirit Highway/Highway 24. Historical markers and picturesque snapshot-spots make this drive ideal for those who want to experience the true West.

Devils Tower National Monument
One of America's most recognizable landforms, the awesome stone uplift of Devils Tower National Monument, is just  nine miles south of Hulett. The premier climb in the Black Hills is the 1,000-foot face of Devils Tower. More than 80 separate routes to the summit have been described since climbing records were started in 1937. The National Park Service says that every year since 1977, more than 3,000 climbers have scaled Devils Tower.
