Fourth of July celebrations are a big deal in Lead! Centered around the Manual Brothers Park, right by the Open Cut, activities are scheduled over three days with all kinds of fun for both children and adults. Vendors dot the landscape of the park, live entertainment keep the summer air full of music, a tri-city parade goes through Deadwood, Central City and Lead, and fireworks over the Open Cut top it all!

Join us for the largest fireworks show in the Black Hills over the impressive Open Cut. Experience the Lead and Deadwood communities coming together for their annual parade. Enjoy vendors, live entertainment, family-friendly activities and the small town charm of historic Main Street! This year we will have a flyover from the B1-Bomber at 11am on the 4th of July with a flag raising ceremony hosted by the VFW.
