Custer's Gulch RV Park & Campground
Welcome to Custer's Gulch RV Park where wildlife, such as deer and elk roam around the grounds just as they did 125 years ago when General Custer camped in this very same spot while on his expedition to the Black Hills. Custer's Gulch, one of the newest RV parks located in the Black Hills, has over 60 full service sites. Located near the west entrance to Custer State Park and less than 3 miles from Custer City, this allows easy access to all the most popular tourist attractions. The links above will give you helpful information while planning a fun filled vacation in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota.
In August of 1874 the exploratory Black Hills Expedition of General George A. Custer made this the site of their permanent camp. The Gold Discovery that started the rush of 1875 was on nearby French Creek. Modern day visitors can enjoy the beauty, history and climate of this valley that has enticed people for over a century to come and stay.
