Black Hills Visitor Information Center has many different advertising opportunities available for any business in the Black Hills, Badlands and Lakes area and to a limited number of businesses outside the region, these are:

Luminaire Display Panels- Our most visually attractive display advertising opportunity is the back lighted Luminaire Display Panel. These oak framed, 2-foot-square display panels are prominently located on the walls in the retail area of the visitor center. They offer a brilliant 24”x24” back-lighted display for your advertising message. Ideal for colorful photos and creative artwork.
The cost of design and transparency production is included in the first year’s space rental fee if production is done by Black Hills, Badlands and Lakes Art Department. Future changes and associated costs are the responsibility of the advertiser.

Free Courtesy Phone Board- An innovative promotional and communications system offers visitors a fee telephone call direct to you! They don’t even have to dial your phone number. At a cost of less than $1 per day, this advertising opportunity is ideal for camping, lodging, tour companies and recreational services that offer or require reservations. This one-touch, speed-dial, information/reservation phone system, complemented by handy brochure pockets and area maps, offers quick and easy access to your business from the tens of thousands of visitors we get each year.
This attractive consumer service is conspicuously located on a wall next to the visitor service desk, and provides full –face exposure for your brochure.
The benefits of our phone board include: outstanding brochure visibility; all phone costs (even long-distance fees!); your business location highlighted on the appropriate map; and the convenience of a push button connection direct to your office or reservation desk.

Premium Brochure Slots- The permanent displays in the BHVIC feature seven distinct regions of our Black Hills and Badlands area. Each region display has a custom recessed brochure rack designated “Traveler Services.” Your brochure receives full-face exposure, is top-lighted and benefits by associating your business with the top tourist attractions in your neighborhood. Only standard sized, 4”x9” brochures are accepted for Premium Brochure slots. The regional displays include: The Badlands and High Plains, The Native Americans, The Great Outdoors, Rapid City, The Southern Hills, The Central Hills, and the Northern Hills. Poster Flip Panels- This colorful and creative display opportunity offers you a lot of advertising space ( nearly 6 square feet) for little money! At $150 per year, this is one of the best advertising values you’ll find anywhere. Use the major selling points to design a wonderful invitation to the thousands of potential customers that view this display area.
Your business will sparkle in one of these clear acrylic display panels,, each 24 inches wide and 36 inches tall, to be used as you wish to promote your business. It is the advertiser’s responsibility to produce and deliver the poster to BHVIC. These display units set right next to our “This Weeks Special Events” reader board and right in front of the visitor service desk, a high visibility display for our visitors.
You are invited to stop and see our display area and ask advise in designing and producing your Poster Flip Panel. A great way to display your restaurant menu, hotel, attraction, or retail product.

Standard Brochure Slots- The Standard Brochure Slot is an excellent promotional opportunity at our best –deal price of $125 per year. Featuring free-standing display racks located right in front of the visitor service desk. These slots offer 1/3 face exposure for your brochure, but do not have the regional/community context which the premium slots offer. This is still excellent exposure for your brochure. We are also aable to accept irregular-sized pieces for these displays.
New Standard Brochure Slot advertisers should provide 200-500 brochures to BHVIC. All advertisers will be notified when their supply of brochures is low.
