BHB&L Membership Makeup

Attractions, accommodations, restaurants, services, campgrounds, casinos and transportation companies comprise 90% of our membership base. Annually, they buy over $385,000 in memberships which helps finance the organization.

Over 20 communities, counties and travel commissions in western South Dakota and Wyoming realize the benefits of cooperative marketing. From Rapid City to Faith, these chamber and trade members vary greatly in size; but they all derive equal benefits from their association with BHB&L.

No matter what volume of revenue your business does, BHB&L’s sliding investment scale accommodates the largest of chain hotels to the smallest of attractions.

Associate members like printers, banks, consultants, ad agencies and other suppliers comprise the remainder of our membership base. Because they benefit indirectly from the region’s tourism industry, these businesses realize the importance of what we do. By helping front-line tourism entities and funding marketing campaigns for the region, these associate members are insuring a good return on their investment.
