Rushmore Tramway Alpine Slide

All guests ride the scenic chairlift up to the park area at its summit. There, you can stroll along the flower-lined pathways, view Mt. Rushmore, and enjoy a burger and a beer at our outdoor Grille.
The chairlift carries guests smoothly back to street level, or the alpine slide offers a rush of excitement for your return. The Alpine Slide consists of two tracks, each 2000 feet in length, which you descend at your own pace in a wheeled sled that is equipped with a brake. Test your grit and take a speedy slide down, or meander down in a slow and easy fashion - it’s up to you!
